One size, and here is exactly what that means.

We do not do S/M/L. Every Cappin' cap is an adjustable strapback that runs 21–24 inches (53–61 cm), which covers roughly 95% of adult heads. Below is everything you would otherwise have to guess.

The parts, named

Crown. Six panels, structured. Mid-depth — sits above the ears, not down over them. A structured crown holds its shape instead of collapsing onto your hair, which is half the dent problem solved before you put it on.

Visor. Pre-curved. Comes shaped out of the box; bends further by hand if you like it steeper.

Closure. Strapback with a metal slide. Continuous adjustment rather than fixed snap positions, so there are no plastic teeth digging in over volume.

Sweatband. Satin-faced. This is the part that touches your hairline all day, and on most caps it is the roughest thing in the hat.

Lining. Red satin across all six panels. Full crown, not a band.

If you want to be sure, measure

Run a soft tape around your head about a finger's width above your ears and across the middle of your forehead — where the band will actually sit. Keep it snug, not tight. If you are between numbers, round up.

Made for your hair

The question is rarely inches. It is whether the thing goes over what you have got. Straight answers, style by style.

360 waves. Yes — and this is the best case for the product. Satin against the pattern instead of cotton, and a structured crown means less pressure flattening it.

Box braids. Yes, worn back or in a low style. A high pile of braids will run the strap out toward 24 in.

Locs. Yes for shoulder-length or tied back. Very thick or very long locs sit better tied low first.

Two-strand twists. Yes. The crown is mid-depth, so twists sit under it rather than compress flat.

Loose curls and coils. Yes, and this is where you notice the satin most — no frizz halo when the hat comes off.

Silk press. Yes. Satin will not lift the press the way a cotton band does. Keep the strap on the looser side.

Fresh taper or fade. Yes. Nothing to protect exactly, but a satin band is kinder on a fresh line than twill.

High-top or freeform. This is the one to measure first. Above 24 inches the strap runs out — email us before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether it will work.

A few more fit questions

What if I am over 24 inches? The strap runs out. Email us before you order rather than paying return shipping to find out.

Does it loosen over time? The metal slide holds. The crown relaxes slightly in the first couple of weeks, which most people read as it breaking in.

Can I return it if the fit is wrong? Seven days, unworn, in original packaging. If it is damaged or defective we cover return shipping either way.

Is it unisex? Yes. Same hat, same size, everybody.
